5.1 Sales Document Conversion

Quotation can generate Sales Order (generated on the Quotation List page), and Sales Order can generate Bill Of Sale/Invoices (generated on the Sales Order List page).

 

 

What is the difference between a Sales Order and Bill of Sale?
Sales Order:

Used for customers to order goods, there is a ship date, a deposit can be charged, and the goods in the sales order have not yet been shipped out of the warehouse, so the creation of a sales order will not reduce inventory. Sales Order can generate Bill of Sale/Invoice.


Bill of Sale/Invoice: 

Creating a Bill of Sale or Invoice will reduce inventory, and if payment is not yet received, accounts receivable will be generated.
